Park and Cemetery

Heber City maintains 7 parks and one cemetery. Additionally, Wasatch County maintains the Southfield Park, the largest regional park in Heber City, which is located adjacent to the Wasatch County Fairgrounds and Event Center. Please observe the Park Rules and keep your parks beautiful and enjoyable for future park users. The city accepts applications to reserve the Main Street Park Pavilion and applications for events in the park on a first come first served basis.

   

Cemetery

Location: 680 North 550 East

The Heber City Cemetery contains about 20 acres. Names in Stone provides information about burials in the cemetery. To purchase plots, contact the City at 435-654-0757.

Community Garden

Each summer Heber City provides the opportunity for residents to participate in a community garden near the cemetery. Contact the city at 435-654-0757 for additional information.

Cove Park

Location: 1871 North Valley Hills Boulevard

Cove Park is a 2 acre neighborhood park located in the Cove at Valley Hills neighborhood on Valley Hills Boulevard. Current park facilities include a children's play area, lawn area, and a pavilion.

Eagle Park

Location: 320 North 750 East

Eagle Park is a 1.5 acre neighborhood park located in the Timp Meadows neighborhood on 750 east. Current park facilities include a children's play area, basketball court, lawn area, and a pavilion.

Main Street Park

Location: 200 South Main Street

The Main Street Park contains 3.5 acres and is located in the central portion of Heber City on Main Street. Current park facilities include a children's play area, lawn area, pavilion, Bandstand for performances, restrooms, and mature trees. The Farmer's Market, Car Show, and Concert in the Park are held in the Main Street Park.

Muirfield Park

Location: 650 North 200 West

The Muirfield Park contains 15 acres and is located on the north part of Heber City. Current park facilities include a children's play area, walking path, natural areas, stream, canal, and lawn area. This is the only city park where dogs are allowed; leashes are required and owners should clean any messes left by their dogs.

Valley Hills Park

Location: 1141 North Valley Hills Boulevard

The Valley Hills Park contains 2 acres and is located on the northeast part of Heber City. Current park facilities include a tennis court, half basketball court, lawn area, and natural vegetation. The park is on a hill with little flat area.

Mill Road Estates Park

Location: 1141 North Valley Hills Boulevard

The Mill Road Estates Park contains 1.5 acres and is located on the east part of Heber City. The park is an open area with lawn and trees with no facilities.

Southfield Park

Location: 1200 West Midway Lane (100 South)

The Southfield Park contains 39 acres and is located on the west part of Heber City. The park has paved walking paths, lawn and trees, restrooms, play areas, sporting areas, pavillions, and vehicle parking. The Centenial Trail, which connects Midway and Heber City, connects to the park. The park is located adjacent to the Wasatch County Fair Grounds and Event Center, and is owned and operated by Wasatch County. All sporting facilites are outdoor, and Wasatch County provides indoor recreation opportunities at the Recreation Center.

Wheeler Park

Location: 2120 South 400 East

Wheeler Park is a 4 acre neighborhood park located in the Wheeler Park-Daniels Gate neighborhood on 400 East, South of East Airport Road. Current park facilities include children's play area and lawn and trees.
