Heber City Corporation is seeking to fill a full-time, 40 hours per week, Building Inspector III. This individual will perform a variety of working level professional and technical duties as needed to assure compliance with city, county, state and/or federal uniform building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical codes and ordinances. Performs inspections on residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Special projects and activities will also be assigned.
The successful candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent and six (6) years or responsible experience in the building trades or and equivalent combination of education and experience. Individual must be bondable, possess a valid Utah driver’s license, be ICC Certified as a Combination Inspector including all four (4) areas of inspection for both residential and commercial, and possess a Utah Combination Inspector License.
The pay range for this position is $32.29 to $45.21 per hour and has additional opportunities for advancement and salary increases.
