Background
Sergeant Jeremy Nelson has been in law enforcement for over 20 years. Sergeant Nelson started his career in Law Enforcement as a dispatcher, and a corrections deputy for Wasatch County Sheriff prior to working for Heber City. In 2017, Sergeant Nelson was appointed the Emergency Manager for Heber City. Sergeant Nelson has experience in the following roles:

Education
Sergeant Nelson grew up in Midway, and graduated from Wasatch High School. He attended Utah Valley University, where he studied Criminal Justice and Sociology.
Personal Life
Sergeant Nelson is married, and has 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and painting. He is also an assistant football coach for Wasatch High School.
